Revolution of the Nomad

let your hearts be
let your ego
be crumbled.

the dark mountains
lofty and high;
the wind that howls
lets out a sigh;

from the minaret
the call to prayer
you hear;
your soul has nothing but
He to fear;

the mingling
of the sounds of mere

mighty are still
the fallen ways
in which dwellers
lay in
their caves

of travels like
ibn battutah;
of whirling
like rumi;
of writings
like al haddad;
of spirit
al ghazali;
of words
like ali ibn talib;

most of all;
of mercy
the beloved
of Allah
(sallahu alayhi wasalaam)
